HELLO

My name is Laura, I live in the beautiful paradise of Whitianga, Coromandel Peninsula with my awesome wee family. I have been lucky enough to spend most of my life near the ocean; I love everything about it and now couldn't imagine living away from it! My photography passion begun over 15 years ago on a second hand Nikon D100 gifted from my Dad; he had sourced it from someone who shot for National Geographic so I had faith it was the ticket. I had no idea how to use the thing but I soon learnt.

Weddings are my jam. At the heart of it, my approach is simple: capture connection. The quiet, fleeting, in-between moments as much as the big ones—the feeling of the day, not just how it looked.

I now take on a very limited number of weddings each year, working closely with couples who value a thoughtful, personal approach. Most of my bookings come through referrals and tend to fill well ahead of time, which allows me to stay intentional about every wedding I say yes to.
