Mr + Mrs Saward

Jake + Sam originally chose the stunning and idyllic Otama Beach as the beautiful background for their nuptials. However, a week after Cyclone Gabe came crashing down and destroyed main access to the beach, the plan needed to be revised. The forecast was for yet again, wet and windy weather. A gorgeous and rustic barn on a local Kuaotunu farm was the perfect spot to seal the deal and Jake and his boys worked tirelessly the week leading up to the wedding to get it into incredible shape. This wedding was derived 100% from the efforts of a village and the feeling in the air that day (despite the bloody rain!) was of that of celebration. And celebrate they damm well did!

With a huge bridal party in tow, Jake + Sam tied the knot with their nearest and dearest and toasted over the best damm Marg’s in the Coromandel. The rain stopped just in time for us to sneak away and capture some brilliant images. As high school sweethearts, and two kids later, Jake and Sam are totally head over heels for each other. Happy Forever guys, thanks for picking me to capture your beautiful day. xx
